Muro San Stae has established itself from the beginning as one of the most popular restaurants in Venice.
A meeting point for friends, families and couples, welcoming customers with a warm and informal atmosphere. The menu offering, while remaining firmly rooted in the lagoon tradition, lightens and refreshes itself to meet even the most modern tastes.

The choice of first courses is varied, from the authentic taste of fresh pasta to the rich taste of our risottos. Exquisite fish dishes with an unmistakable taste and a traditionally Venetian soul encounter delicious cuts of meat such as the classic tagliata. Also appreciated by both adults and children is our pizza, light and pleasant thanks to the long leavening processes.

In the warm season it is possible to enjoy our dishes outside on tables arranged in a typical Venetian campiello.

Muro Frari is the last restaurant established by the Muro Venezia family. The kitchen offering is complete and combines Venetian love for fish with expertise in Asian spice. It offers a variety of meat specialities, from steak tartar in a classic recipe style, to steak cooked at the table on a hot plate, not to mention the succulent Florentine and refined Chateaubriand.

Particular attention is paid to choosing the best cuts: we continually select and monitor the origin of the meat to maintain a high quality throughout the year.
Also for our pizzas we select only the best ingredients. We only use high grade flours and employ leavening periods of at least 24 hours.

The wine cellar is carefully constructed and stocked with wines selected for all tastes, including a wide selection not listed on the menu. The draft beer is sourced from classic Bavarian brews and we boast a fine selection of bottled artisan beers.

In the summer there is a large area from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the canal, crossed by gondolas from the nearby station, as well as the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, one of the most admired churches in Venice.
