Muro San Stae

Meeting point for many venetians, Muro San Stae welcomes its guests in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our dishes are inspired by tradition but are lightened and refreshed to meet contemporary tastes, too.

We serve a wide range of bronze-drawn homemade pasta and tasty risotto. Fish courses are prepared following traditional venetian recipes and meat cuts are grilled or slow cooked on low heat.

Pizza is very appreciated by kids and adults as long leavening time makes it light and tasty.
In warm seasons we serve on the terrace, too, in a typical venetian campiello.

An amazing find! The food was delicious, especially spaghetti con nero di seppia! Definitely one of the best meal we ate in Venice and scores highly in all of Italy after 5 years here! Staff was very friendly and helpful, the setting is beautiful and although we sat outside quite calm on a weekend.

Absolutely beautiful food in here, away from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy parts, it's still thriving with a lovely atmosphere and is nicely busy.We didn't book but we were very lucky to get a table. For starter we had a bruschetta between us, very tasty, and for the main we had the risotto, ask what flavour it is as I believe it's different on different nights, this was a seafood one, not normally something I'd have when out but the wife wanted it and they only make it for a minimum of 2 so I had it, and wow, honestly the best risotto I've ever tasted, perfect texture, silky and delicious. Tiramasu was for desert and was also very good.The best meal we had during our 3 night stay in Venice and I'd definitely recommend if visiting yourselves.
