Muro San Stae

Meeting point for many venetians, Muro San Stae welcomes its guests in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our dishes are inspired by tradition but are lightened and refreshed to meet contemporary tastes, too.

We serve a wide range of bronze-drawn homemade pasta and tasty risotto. Fish courses are prepared following traditional venetian recipes and meat cuts are grilled or slow cooked on low heat.

Pizza is very appreciated by kids and adults as long leavening time makes it light and tasty.
In warm seasons we serve on the terrace, too, in a typical venetian campiello.

Le personnel est chaleureux. Le service est rapide, les pizzas sont très bonnes. Les prix sont très raisonnables et il est bien placé par rapport au centre. Je recommande !

Amazing. The service is prompt, friendly, and many of the waiters speak very good English, which was helpful for my family, as I was the only one of us with conversational level Italian. The food comes out fast, warm and delicious, the menu is varied and all the dishes we bought were great. Cannot be faulted, a fantastic place to eat.

oatmeal

i had the fusilli with ragu and it was very good. it felt mildly overcooked but the sauce was very tasty and with the textured sauce and a bit of parmesan the texture of the pasta was not very noticeable so it was not a big issue at all.my grandma was also satisfied with her pasta though i do not remember which one it was.i had the hazelnut tiramisu which was my favourite ive had in venice. the cream had more of a chocolate mousse texture but personally i preferred that. it tasted very good and was a good sized portion. again i do not remember what dessert my grandma had but she did enjoy it though she was too full to finish.the atmosphere was good with good music from roughly the 70s.the staff was very kind.

A very warm greeting at the door. A generous serve of fritto misto superbly cooked followed by tartufo for dolci. Served with nice spritz. Very relaxed service.
